Pembroke Town Council Civic Awards 2024
The Pembroke Awards Scheme is the town’s highest accolade and was introduced in 1998 to say thank you to individuals & organisations that have brought honour to and have made a contribution to the community of Pembroke. The event saw a packed out Town Hall, on Thursday evening, with a buffet provided by Victoria’s Teas and Buffets.
Mayor of Pembroke Charity Event
Friday 19th April saw another packed out Town Hall, with the Mayor of Pembroke’s Concert, with the Pembroke & District Male Voice Choir, giving a splendid performance! Over £400 raised for the Mayoral Charities Welsh Guards and VC Gallery.

Bürgermeisterin of Bergen visits Pembroke
The Mayor of Pembroke and Chairman of the Pembroke Twinning Committee, Cllr Aden Brinn welcomed recently to the Mayor’s Parlour at Pembroke Town Hall the Burgermeisterin Claudia Dettmar-Muller & Mrs Silvia Bothe from our twin town of Bergen, Lower Saxony, Germany.
During their visit the itinerary included visiting St Mary’s Church, Warren, Stackpole Gardens, Pembroke Castle, the West Wales Maritime Museum & Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre. A visit also included going to Castlemartin Army Camp.
A presentation of a framed photograph was presented by Cllr Brinn to Burgermeisterin Claudia Dettmar-Muller of the Henry V11 Statute which proudly stands down at Pembroke Quay.
During the visit both Mayor’s disscussed ideas of future exchanges of our youth and organisations between our respective communities and to continue in the spirit of strengthening European international friendship between Pembroke & Bergen.
New Town Councillors
At the meeting of Pembroke Town Council held on the 7th December, our two new Councillors joined us, Councillor Deborah Wilcocks and Councillor Lee Herring, who are both in the Ward of St Mary's South. Both are looking forward to working with the Community.
